Welcome to Green Teen!
You can probably guess what this site is like - I'm a teen, (my name is Ashley) searching for "green" food that has more nutritional benefits but still tastes delicious! And yes, I think it is possible to eat "healthy" but still enjoy what you're eating. I've found recipes where the better-for-you-version tastes more delicious than the real version! (Check out Vegan and Gluten Free Mini Banana Cupcakes!) And that's my purpose for this blog - to share stunningly tasty meals, snacks, and more with you that are, in terms, "healthy." Eating better doesn't have to be gross or scarily small amounts of food. It can just be eating fresher, more nutritious food. (And buying organic doesn't hurt, either).
Dive right into a world of delicious recipes with ingredients that I'm pretty sure you'll have RIGHT NOW! That's right - no super weird ingredients here that you can't even pronounce. Just natural, yummy tasting food that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
