Official third smoothie recipe on GT! Yay, who doesn't love a healthy shake? 😊 If you missed the other two smoothies, be sure to check out the Green Teen Smoothie and the Creamy Pumpkin Smoothie. Today's recipe uses CARROTS, because they are good for your eyes. (I'm guessing you'd like good eyesight. So eat your carrots!) Funny story about carrots, too - when I was just a baby my mom said sometimes I ate so many carrots the tip of my nose would turn a little orange! Crazy, right? I'm guessing all of you have memories of asking someone, "if I eat so many carrots, will I turn orange?" Maybe that's just me, but when I asked, my mom actually had proof of me turning orange! Alrighty, let's begin!
Orange Dream SMOOTHIE!!! 🍊
Ingredients (roughly serves 2-4):
1 cup natural orange juice 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup plain yogurt (optional, but adds creaminess) 2 carrots, peeled and chopped 1 cup fruit of your choice (I recommend something frozen, like peaches or strawberries!) 🍑🍓
Put all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend well until fully combined. Add 4-6 ice cubes and reblend. Pour into glasses and serve up your treat! 😋
