So...breakfast. You all know it's the most important meal of the day, right? That's why it's so critical (semi-big word of the day) to start it out right! You don't want to feel lousy the rest of the day just because you skipped breakfast or ate Lucky Charms. But don't worry, I have a solution for you, and it's easy to make in the morning. Because yes, I know my other breakfast recipe so far (check out Chai Tea Breakfast Quinoa!) would be a bit challenging to make in the morning before school or work, but Avocado Toast is Super. Easy! All you have to do is toast your bread, cook your egg, and cup up your avocado! Waaalah! 🥑🥑🥑
Let's get to it.
1 slice whole grain bread
1 egg (this step is actually optional but adds extra protein for your day!)
1/2 avocado, sliced
drizzle of olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
chili flakes (if you want a spicy flair!) 🌶
Toast your bread. Then cook your egg how you would like it (works well any way.) Then, slice up your avocado into cubes. Add the egg and sliced avocado to your bread, and top with salt, pepper, olive oil, and/or chili flakes. Now you have a delicious, healthy way to start your day! You can eat your toast with some fruit and milk for a nutritious, balanced meal. 😁👌
