Dinner just got a whole lot easier. Whip up a quick batch of this tasty and nourishing alfredo, toss a green salad, and voila! Dinner is served. This recipe only uses three ingredients, and one of them is the pasta! Plus, you probably have them on hand (but if not, they're very easy to find at the grocery store). You will need half and half for this recipe, and you CAN'T substitute it for milk!! I've learned that the hard way. Half and half is creamier and melts the cheese better, so make sure you have some with you. Other than that, this recipe is very versatile and simple to follow. Don't worry about making exact measurements, because you can always add more half and half or cheese if you need to. You'll notice this recipe is very vague, because you can make this sauce according to how YOU like it. If you like runnier sauce, add more liquid. If you like your alfredo thicker, add more cheese. Don't worry about following this recipe exactly! Alfredo Pasta Recipe: Serves 2-5, depending how much pasta you make INGREDIENTS 1 box (or however much you want to make) of your favorite pasta, or whatever you have on hand (whole-wheat noodles, linguini, gluten-free...whatever you like). 1 Tbsp. butter 1/2-1 cup half-and-half 1-2 cups Parmesan cheese sprinkle of salt & pepper DIRECTIONS Make your pasta. Set aside in a large bowl. To make the sauce, use a large saucepan and melt the butter at medium heat. Once it's melted, add in the half and half. Use a whisk to stir, and heat it for 1 minute to get it thickened up. Then, add in your cheese, about 1/2 cup at a time. Once you reach your desired thickness, add a little salt and pepper. Pour over your noodles and you have a delicious dinner!! Recipe and photos by Ashley
