Do the words kale and chips even go together? I can assure that they most certainly can with this delicious recipe!
If you want a healthy (and tasty) snack, look no further. Kale chips are nutritious and the perfect addition to a school lunch! Did I mention they take only about 10 minutes to make (and that you only need 2 ingredients?) Whip up a batch right away - you'll be glad you did. The kale shrivels up so much in the oven, you'll be amazed about how many great nutrients you're getting in for the day! Daily veggies, check. :) Kale Chips: 4 stalks of kale (more or less) seasoning to taste (salt, pepper and/or a basic garlic seasoning is the best) Wash your kale. Then cut or rip off small pieces of kale from the stem. (You don't need the stems for this recipe). Then put your kale on a baking sheet - no need to spray it. Sprinkle with your desired amount of seasoning (but don't go overboard! Only a few pinches is necessary). Bake your kale at 350 degrees for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how crunchy you like your kale. I found that 7 minutes worked well. Enjoy your healthy snack! Who needs potato chips?! :) Recipe and photo by: Ashley
