With the Fourth of July just around the corner, I think it's important to have some patriotic treats on hand as you watch fireworks or have a neighborhood barbecue. That's why my next few posts will be centered around the Fourth of July - so make sure you come back for more!
I made this recipe last year and I got it from one of my favorite bloggers, Food Faith Fitness (www.foodfaithfitness.com). Definitely head over to her site sometime, but in the meantime, check out her AMAZING recipe for VEGAN red, white, and blue bars. They're out of this world, and also gluten free. So just about anyone can have them - being vegan and GF!! Just to warn you, this recipe is a little bit complicated and takes awhile to make. I think it's worth it, and a fun way to spend your afternoon, but if you don't have all this time, stay tuned for other Fourth of July recipes coming.
