Another delicious fall treat you NEED to make this fall is pumpkin seeds! Specifically, the sweet kind. I don't know about you but sometimes I get sick of the classic salt...so, I decided to give a sweeter version a try. There's so many different flavors out there, but cinnamon and sugar is definitely a hit. Use your pumpkin seeds leftover from pumpkin carving and make a batch of Cinnamon & Sugar Pumpkin Seeds!
You will need: 1-1/2 cups pumpkin seeds, thoroughly cleaned & dried 2 Tbsp. butter/butter substitute if vegan 1 Tbsp. cinnamon 1 Tbsp. sugar pinch of salt Melt your butter in a bowl that will fit your seeds in it. Add in a pinch of salt and then the cinnamon. (Sugar comes later, so don't add it in yet!) Then, pour in the seeds into your mixture. Stir and spread on a lined backing sheet. Bake for 12 minutes and then stir and bake for another 12 minutes. Take out and spread with sugar and enjoy! Store in a container if you don't eat them all in one setting. Photo by: Ashley
